I was born on my birthday in 1989 in Pittsburgh, PA. Some years later I went to college for anthropology, with the intention of becoming a cultural researcher to better understand why people do the things they do. Having lost the desire to stay in academia, I went to graduate school for environmental science. I moved to Texas, and I was an environmental consultant for nearly 7 years before discovering the world of UX design.
I enjoy escape rooms, playing hockey, and eating really overpriced food. I appreciate a good bourbon or Islay scotch, and I have an affinity for Disney and horror movies. I live in Austin with my partner, Michelle and our 3 cats: Bread Loaf, Pickles, and Pesto.
